As Head of Design at Sunbound, I led design and was a strategic partner across product and engineering, and led a company rebrand (identity and website) that united the company’s mission and vision in a bold new direction. Which led to the platform processing over $1B/yr. My work was responsible for the design and product strategy and systems behind that growth. I built the design system architecture, Solis, as a multi-layer token architecture with documentation for both engineers and AI agents to build within it effectively. This allowed the team and I to prototype agentically, design agentic workflows for product and design work, and shape how the org adopted new tooling in practice. I also helped colleagues understand and adopt AI efficiencies in their day-to-day workflow, and partnered with stakeholders and product/engineering leadership on vision, roadmap, and technical direction to lead a reworking of the platform's information architecture. I also stood up our UX research function, consisting of automated conversation tracking, agentic monitoring of industry news and insights, and a centralized database that delivers summaries on its own so I could spend my time on the human conversations and relationships that actually moved product decisions forward.
